Get Started on Your Maintenance Schedule at Hyundai of Milledgeville
You have your Hyundai Palisade, now what? Beyond all of the fun adventures and everyday errands you are dealing with, we want to remind you about the importance of keeping up with a service schedule. At Hyundai of Milledgeville, we believe that everyone in the Macon and Athens areas should be doing what they can to keep their Palisade in the best condition possible. It’s our goal, especially with our certified technicians, to ensure that your ride lasts for years to come without any major hiccups or issues. In order to accomplish that, a maintenance schedule has to be kept to, and we’re here to give you the tips and tricks of finding out what kind of services should be done, and how often. All you have to do is keep reading and schedule the appointment!
What services should be done every 8,000 miles?
The first interval that we normally recommend scheduling an appointment for is around 8,000 miles. When you schedule this appointment, our technicians will take care of services like a tire rotation, an engine oil change, and an inspection of things like the battery’s condition, parking brake, disc brakes and pads, brake fluid, and exhaust pipe/muffler. We really want to make sure that your ride is staying in the best shape possible, so if we do ever find an issue, we’ll make sure we keep you in the loop and allow you to help us make the final decision that’s right for you. We’re in this together!
What happens at 16,000 miles for my Palisade?
When you reach 16,000 miles, we’ll be doing many of the same services that we perform at 8,000 miles. This type of regularity is the cause for such success with vehicles that last longer than those that are neglected in their rides. That means we recommend getting an oil change done, along with a tire rotation, and a replacement of the climate control air filter. We’ll inspect the same things we inspected last time, and remember, if you are hearing any noises that don’t seem normal, please report them to us so we can make sure we are looking at anything that could be causing a problem with your Palisade.
Do things change when I reach 48,000 miles?
Yes! At this point, there are a few other services we recommend for this schedule. Beyond the usual tire rotation and oil change, we want to replace a few things in your system that can help everything run better for longer. We really recommend replacing the brake fluid at this time, as this is a good way to keep your Palisade’s brakes healthy, as opposed to any issues that could arise with old brake fluid that could be damaging to your system. We also recommend replacing the air cleaner filter so you and your passengers are getting clean air as often as possible.
Do any shakeups happen at 96,000 mile services?
The biggest difference here, beyond keeping up with our inspections, finding issues before they get larger, and of course doing the usual tire rotation/engine oil change, is to switch out your spark plugs. You will absolutely want to make sure that this is done at 96,000 at least, but never later. We want to keep your Palisade in the best condition possible, and that can’t be done if you are skipping on services or avoiding replacing parts that need to be replaced. Remember, if you experience any other problems, let our team know and we’ll check it out for you!
