Friendly, punctual and professional

I bought a car from them on Saturday and called on Monday to find out the finance company and no one in the finance dept would take my calls. I guess once you drive the car off the lot the customer service ends.

I had a great experience until I reached the financial guy, Adrian. He was extremely rude and unprofessional for whatever reason. If they hadn’t ran my credit report and my daughter not wanting this vehicle, I would have told them to keep the car and took my business elsewhere. I recommend going anywhere but here.

Managed to get me and my partner a brand new car with no down payment and a very affordable monthly payment. They are truly miracle workers.

Their management is horrible! They made a deal and then would not honor it! They said all of a sudden that the color I wanted was in high demand!!! I have never had this happen! Then they got mad b/c another dealer reached out to me and beat their deal by $500. They need new management that wants to make deals!!! Who does not honor their first deals! I went to Five Star in Macon and got a better deal and a GM that appreciates my business!!!

The better choice is Taylor Hyundai Augusta. This dealership needs to find a new General Sales Manager as Kevin Baxter is terrible. The salesman I had was brand new and I would have been his second sale if the deal went through but that wasn’t going to happen. He was very genuine and tried real hard and was well intentioned but his efforts were lost on his support team. We had a close deal but I introduced the prospect of a trade in late in the negotiations when I thought about a vehicle I had at home that had some mechanical issues. I asked if they would accept a “push, pull or drag” trade and I was surprised when they responded “yes.” I gave them the details including the vin, mileage, issues and backed it up with pics. They estimated that a 2015 Ram Promaster 1500 was worth about $5-$8k in a compromised mechanical condition. I was happy to hear that and decided to proceed. The vehicle had to be towed in but the appraiser couldn’t see the car until after all the rebates and specials were over so they changed their offer to $3500 for a site unseen appraisal. I was still somewhat ok with that because i had a vehicle that I didn’t want to spend anymore money on and I knew it was the end of the month and the end of the fiscal year for the Koreans, so units sold was important for the dealer to meet their quotas. So, like a bull out of a gate comes Kevin Baxter. He’s marching toward me from across their tired, outdated, worn out showroom. All the other salespeople are shucking and jiving amongst themselves in their Easter wear as the “Baxter” train is a coming. He’s holding in his hand a Carfax report and he says out loud “You lied!!!” Everyone can hear him. It’s embarrassing really and I was taken aback. He began to tell me I said my “push, pull , drag” trade in shows 152,000 miles on the odometer from a recent oil change and I said the vehicle had 132,000 miles on it. He said, I was trying to defraud the dealership and he had dealt with people like me in the past and it wasn’t going to happen this time. Wow, talk about American Psycho I was witnessing a meltdown. I remarked that shouldn’t be a problem as they were greatly devaluing my vehicle. The real issue here was his insanity and rudeness and lack of professionalism. I collected my stuff and said “f” you cowboy! I left that place. My grandma told me, if your Aunt had nuts she would be your Uncle and Kevin Baxter was “Nuts.” The next day I went to Taylor Hyundai in Augusta. OMG what a difference. I’m telling you folks these guys have their “S” together. Fantastic dealership is State of the Art. Really really nice. Well trained staff (Grayson, the Millegeville Hyundai salesman, was washing cars the week before and I would have been his second sale). Taylor’s salesman had it together. He was dapper, organized, knew his product back and forth and was going overboard to help out. They took my trade too. They coordinated a tow service to drive from Augusta to Sandersville GA to pick up the vehicle, they coordinated the installation of a trailer hitch and braking mechanism, they applied all the discounts and rebates and they were $1,000 cheaper. The General Sales Manager was very professional and knowledgeable and respectful. There is a huge difference folks in the end results. Don’t eat in a soup kitchen when you can spend the same and get a Michelin 5 star restaurant experience. This fool Kevin Baxter I’m guessing was trying to play me and maybe he was trying to intimidate me into selling my vehicle cheaper or I don’t know, but it was a horrible experience and I say this to anyone reading this review…leave these people alone. This place is “Nuts!!!” I mean, I was trading in my car “as is where is” 20,000 miles isn’t the issue. Go to Taylor or anywhere else but thumbs down on these guys. My new car is below! Yay! Amendment: In response to the request to speak directly to the GM Sandy Phillips, I’ve attempted 3 calls with msgs to no avail. The problem here is systemic in nature and concludes my suspicion that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Two thumbs down!

Like most desperate and archaic used car dealerships, they utilize underhanded marketing tools like the "money-opoly" mail game, implying you won some prize ($1000 value or so). I gave 15 minutes of my lunch break to let you all know it is indeed too good to be true.

Took my car to Volume Hyundai on Saturday and was ensured that my will be worked on by “first thing Monday morning” by Julia. I called Monday morning and spoke to Angela, she stated my car may get looked at this week but it’s not guaranteed. I called again on Monday and spoke to Julia, she then stated she will try to look at it by Monday but there were a lot of cars. She also stated that they 5-7 business days to look at my car. No one said this on Saturday, because if they would’ve stated this, I would’ve simply took my car to my mechanic. I stay out of town and explained this to them and they claimed they were out of loaners and the only way my warranty could help get a rental is if they put a claim in. They have to diagnose the car first which could be until Monday evening or “up to 5-7 business days” smh. Tuesday, Angela called and said that I need a new starter which was $770, outrageous right? A tow truck came for my car and took it to the wonderful Cates. Cates started on my car at 12 pm and called at 2 pm saying my car was ready. I picked up my car at 4pm. All of this in a matter of hours not days. Volume Hyundai made sure that I knew to pay $170 for the diagnostics for a starter problem and tried to charge me for a tow which I got through my insurance smh but never notified me about the recall on the receipt. I called today to ask them about the recall because on the receipt it states that “advised customer she has an open recall” which no one did. I asked Julia and she basically apologized for lying about notifying me, but again they made sure to notify me about that 170. SMH. I will never go back to lying Volume Hyundai because they’re overpriced, and according to the time I spent with them liars. If you read this , I will advise you to go to Cates in Milledgeville, Ga and speak to James, he’s literally the best and gets the job done correctly and in a great time frame.

Made us feel special. Found my dream truck. Everyone loves it also. Pumping gas everyone coming up & wanted to know about it. Need to get more in. Have at least ten people said they were going by there. Perfect for tailgating. Had my gnome in the back seat. The monitor kept telling me to check the back seat. I am a very upset customer who was deceived by a so called reputable car salesman at Volume Hyundai of Milledgeville. I was told by Mr. D. Ford that the location had a special program to help potential buyers improve their credit by purchasing a vehicle they select for you that's financed at an outrageous price but only requires you to make a one time payment and then return it for them to buy back so it reflects a vehicle paid in full on your credit report, which would definitely boost your score so that the vehicle of choice you wanted can be financed at the price range the customer was actually seeking. A down payment is requested by the customer in the amount that exceeds $2000. Well, guess what, once you are stuck with that lie, it's a wrap, they made the garbage/deceitful deal and what you were told appears to have caused amnesia. There were numerous attempts made to contact the GM and each time it was a different story told. Each car salesman spoken to after the fact to try to clear this matter up was fully aware and assumingly had been briefed on what to tell you. The matter is definitely not over because I will pursue every avenue possible to make sure this doesn't happen to another innocent customer.

I initially thought I would be able to refer others to this location bc everyone appeared to be honest and trustworthy until I became a victim of deceit and scammed into a terrible sale.

Another awful experience. At the beginning of our visit everyone looks friendly and kind. They offer a solution for us , I felt driving a new car. Oh surprise something went wrong with our credit score (we explain before they run our credit) . They threw our car keys on the table. Terrible experience one more time in the same place.

Salesperson was fine, very nice. Bought a Hyundai Calligraphy Palisade. Service Department was rude and didn’t care how long you waited. Definitely suggest if you have a Hyundai get it serviced at 5 Star Hyundai in Macon, GA. Work is done in a timely fashion and people are very polite there.
